Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Cloud Lead Consultant – Production Support to lead the support, stabilization, and continuous improvement of Oracle HCM Cloud applications in a live enterprise environment. The role requires strong functional expertise across Core HR, Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC), Journeys, and HCM Security, along with the ability to manage production incidents, lead issue resolution, support business users, and drive system enhancements. The consultant will work closely with HR stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional support teams to ensure reliable system performance, secure access, and seamless HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Lead L2/L3 production support for Oracle HCM Cloud modules, with primary focus on Core HR, Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC), Journeys, and HCM Security.
•
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to employee data, hiring processes, candidate lifecycle, approvals, role provisioning, and security access.
•
Act as the functional lead for incident triage, defect analysis, root cause analysis, and timely resolution within agreed SLAs.
•
Support configuration and maintenance of Core HR, ORC, Journeys, Redwood UI, Business Rules, and related HCM processes.
•
Manage and support HCM Security, including role-based access control, custom roles, data security, user access issues, and segregation of duties considerations.
•
Collaborate with business users, HR operations, and technical teams to analyse issues, recommend solutions, and implement system improvements.
•
Support quarterly releases, patch impact analysis, regression testing, and production deployment activities.
•
Coordinate with Oracle support for product issues, service requests, and escalation management when required.
•
Prepare support documentation, knowledge articles, issue logs, and handover materials for operational continuity.
•
Support integrations and downstream impacts involving HCM modules, security, and related enterprise applications.
Required Experience:
•
Strong hands-on experience in Oracle HCM Cloud, with proven expertise in Core HR and Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC).
•
Good functional knowledge of Oracle Journeys and experience supporting lifecycle-based employee process automation.
•
Strong experience in HCM Security, including RBAC, custom roles, inherited roles, data security, and user provisioning/access troubleshooting.
•
Proven experience in production support / application support / BAU support for Oracle HCM Cloud in an enterprise environment.
•
Experience in handling L2/L3 incidents, service requests, defect resolution, root cause analysis, and business-critical issue management.
•
Working knowledge of Redwood UI, VBCS, and Business Rules within Oracle HCM Cloud.
•
Ability to lead functional discussions, support business stakeholders, and coordinate with technical teams for issue resolution and enhancements.
•
Experience with release management activities including impact assessment, testing support, and post-release stabilization.
•
Strong understanding of HR business processes such as employee lifecycle events, recruitment workflows, approvals, and security access controls.
•
Experience using ticketing and support tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar platforms.
•
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
•
Experience leading Oracle HCM Cloud support teams or serving as a module lead in a global support model.
•
Familiarity with OTBI, BI reports, HDL, HSDL, Fast Formula, and related HCM support/troubleshooting areas.
•
Experience working with integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud and third-party or enterprise systems.
•
Knowledge of Oracle quarterly update processes and best practices for release readiness.
•
ITIL knowledge or experience working in a structured production support environment.
•
Prior experience in large-scale HR transformation or post-implementation support programs
