Fire Alarms Technician

Chubb New Zealand is looking for a skilled and energetic person with relevant qualifications or experience in the Fire industry to service Fire Alarm Systems.

To be successful in this role you must have the following attributes:

  • Proven fire alarm experience in New Zealand
  • Knowledge of New Zealand Fire Standards
  • A high knowledge of fire alarm products/services and relevant industry standards
  • Ability to manage your own time and commitments
  • High degree of personal and professional standards
  • Be a great team player 
  • Excellent communication skills

The main responsibilities of this role are:

  • Daily service work and completion of small projects
  • Testing/surveying of fire protection systems and equipment on company customer premises to a high degree of quality & efficiency for customer and company to meet Chubb Standards and NZ Regulatory Industry Standards
  • Identify defects, service, and repair of systems and equipment
  • Be on a rostered on call after hours service
