Here at Chubb (part of the APi group), we are looking for an experienced billing or renewals expert to join our high performing team as Contract Renewals Specialist. This role will see you collaborating with customers and internal stakeholders to lead the renewals process for service contracts.

This will be an office-based role during training / probation, and will then move to a hybrid model with three days per week working from Blackburn

SALARY:  Up to £29K per annum

What you'll be doing as Contract Renewals Specialist

This brand-new role in our business is required to lead and coordinate the renewals process for service contracts, ensuring deadlines are met to enable prompt invoicing and support the company’s cash flow objectives.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Drive timely renewals by engaging with Sales Account Managers and customers, ensuring deadlines are met and necessary inputs are provided.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Sales and external customers to foster collaboration and accountability.
  • Hold stakeholders accountable to renewal timelines through proactive communication and escalation where needed.
  • Act as a bridge between Sales, Customers, and Billing, ensuring smooth handovers and alignment on contract details.
  • Work closely with the Contract Billing team to support reconciliation, Excel-based validations, and system updates.
  • Monitor renewal timelines, escalate risks, and track progress to ensure invoicing is not delayed.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives, helping to streamline renewals and reduce manual effort.

What we would like you to bring to the role:

The role requires a proactive individual who can build strong rapport with the Sales community and customers, while integrating effectively with the technical billing team to ensure seamless reconciliation and data accuracy.

You will have:

  • Experience in contract renewals, billing, or commercial operations.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, especially with Sales stakeholders and external customers.
  • Ability to chase and follow up diplomatically but assertively.
  • Comfortable working with technical teams and systems (Excel, JDE, SideTrade).
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration and process improvement.
