We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Workshop Technician to join our Warehouse team based in our Dingley branch. As a Workshop Technician you will work primarily within our VitalCall business unit, mainly dispatching and receiving products and refurbishing and testing equipment for our suite of VitalCall Products

About the Role (Salary $65,000 per annum + Superannuation)

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage daily production activities, including testing and refurbishment of VitalCall products.
  • Oversee stock control, including ordering consumables and maintaining stock levels for service needs.
  • Contribute to efficient workplace procedures to optimised productivity.
  • Liaise regularly with the warehouse team, other supervisors, and technicians regarding stock and production needs.
  • Complete internal invoicing, purchase ordering, and maintain associated documentation.
  • Maintain production registers and all required paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Uphold workplace health and safety standards.

About You

  • Previous experience in a workshop or production environment.
  • Familiarity with fire and security protection equipment servicing is highly desirable but not essential (training will be provided).
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage stock control processes effectively.
  • Competent with internal invoicing, purchase ordering, and general administration.
  • Strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Forklift license (preferred)

This is a working role — applicants must be willing to actively participate in workshop tasks as needed. On-the-job training will be provided to ensure a clear understanding of compliance and workplace expectations.
