SALARY:<\/b>\u00a0 Opportunity to earn in excess of \u00a352,000\u00a0 (This includes basic and additional supplements – base is determined on experience).<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
LOCATION:<\/b> Highlands and surrounding areas<\/p>\n Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n Service, Maintenance and Repair<\/p>\n \u00b7 Undertake routine servicing, testing, inspection, preventative maintenance and repairs of fire detection, fire alarm and associated equipment, including emergency lighting where applicable.<\/p>\n \u00b7 Undertake planned and reactive maintenance of security systems, including intruder alarms, CCTV and access-control systems.<\/p>\n \u00b7 Attend customer sites in response to system failures and malfunctions; diagnose faults logically and rectify them using appropriate repair or replacement methods.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Installation and Commissioning<\/p>\n \u00b7 Support and undertake installation, modification and commissioning works for fire and security systems in line with specifications, drawings, relevant standards and company procedures.<\/p>\n \u00b7 Plan work activities, check materials, coordinate access and installation arrangements with customers and other contractors, and ensure the safe storage of equipment on site.<\/p>\n \u00b7 Install, connect, test and commission equipment, cables and containment as required.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Planning, Documentation and Teamwork<\/p>\n \u00b7 Plan and organise own workload efficiently, prioritising customer needs, safety requirements and contractual commitments.<\/p>\n \u00b7 Complete all required electronic and paper records accurately and on time, including PDA records, customer record books, timesheets, test results and unusual incident reports.<\/p>\n \u00b7 Communicate promptly and concisely with the service desk regarding customer issues, outstanding work and follow-on requirements.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Essential Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge<\/p>\n \u00b7 Experience of servicing, maintaining, fault-finding and repairing fire detection alarm systems and electronic security systems.<\/p>\n \u00b7 Working knowledge of intruder alarm, Fire Alarms, CCTV and access-control systems for both planned preventative and reactive service activity.<\/p>\n \u00b7 Ability to read and work from prepared plans, technical drawings and system documentation, and accurately record system changes.<\/p>\n \u00b7 Ability to diagnose faults methodically and complete repairs to the required technical, quality and safety standards.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n #LI-BW1<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":6859,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"inline_featured_image":false},"country":[2],"class_list":["post-13015","job_posting","type-job_posting","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","country-united-kingdom"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n\n
