Reporting directly to the VP of Corporate Development, you will serve as a key strategic advisor to executive leadership, driving inorganic growth across a business that protects some of the world&#039;s most critical infrastructure. This is a high-visibility role with direct access to C-suite decision-making and meaningful influence over how one of the most established names in fire &amp; security continues to grow globally.<\/p>\n<p><b>WHAT YOU&#039;LL DO<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Own the acquisition pipeline<\/b>\u00a0&#8211; build and maintain a high-quality deal pipeline aligned to APi International&#039;s strategic growth priorities, partnering directly with senior business leaders to define target markets, sectors, and acquisition criteria.<\/li>\n<li><b>Lead end-to-end M&amp;A execution<\/b>\u00a0&#8211; drive all transaction phases from origination and valuation through deal structuring, LOI negotiation, definitive purchase agreement, and close.<\/li>\n<li><b>Direct cross-functional due diligence<\/b>\u00a0&#8211; program-manage all workstreams (Finance, Tax, Legal, HR, Safety, Treasury) from kickoff through final reporting; escalate key risks, synthesize findings, and ensure a clean handoff to the integration team.<\/li>\n<li><b>Build and manage external advisor relationships<\/b>\u00a0&#8211; oversee investment banks, legal counsel, and brokers to ensure efficient transaction execution and access to high-quality deal flow.<\/li>\n<li><b>Monitor post-close performance<\/b>\u00a0&#8211; track acquisition results against underwriting assumptions, manage contingent consideration, and translate performance data into sharper future investment decisions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>WHAT WE&#039;RE LOOKING FOR<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>8&#043; years in M&amp;A, corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or transaction advisory<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated track record of end-to-end deal execution &#8211; sourcing, valuation, structuring, due diligence, negotiation, and close<\/li>\n<li>Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills (DCF, LBO, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions)<\/li>\n<li>Experience leading cross-functional due diligence workstreams and managing external advisors<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to negotiate LOIs and purchase agreements directly with sellers and their counsel<\/li>\n<li>Strong executive presence &#8211; able to influence and advise at C-suite and Board level<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor&#039;s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive compensation relevant to your experience<\/li>\n<li>Hybrid working model<\/li>\n<li>25 days holiday plus bank holidays<\/li>\n<li>Company vehicle or car allowance<\/li>\n<li>Private Medical Insurance<\/li>\n<li>Company Pension Scheme<\/li>\n<li>Life Assurance (4 x basic salary)<\/li>\n<li>Employee Scholarship Scheme<\/li>\n<li>Access to a central benefits platform with a wide range of discounts<\/li>\n<li>Health and wellbeing resources<\/li>\n<li>Bravo Awards recognising outstanding contributions<\/li>\n<li>Continuous training and development opportunities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>What makes this role different:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Scale and legacy<\/b>\u00a0&#8211; Chubb Fire &amp; Security has operated for over 200 years and serves clients ranging from independent businesses to the majority of the FTSE 100.
