About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Fire Protection Service Engineer to join our growing team.

You’ll be responsible for the inspection, servicing, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of mechanical fire protection systems across commercial, industrial, and residential sites.

This is a nationwide role and as such this Engineer can be based any where across Great Britain.

SALARY: £36,493.87

  • 23 days leave plus 8 bank holidays

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine servicing, testing, and maintenance of mechanical fire protection systems (e.g., sprinklers, hydrants, pumps, mist systems).

  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to ensure systems remain compliant and fully operational.

  • Complete detailed service reports and communicate findings clearly to clients and internal teams.

  • Ensure all work meets relevant standards and regulations (BS, LPC, NFPA, etc.).

  • Participate in on‑call rota for emergency callouts.

  • Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally on-site.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with mechanical fire protection systems

  • Strong understanding of industry standards and compliance requirements.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

  • Full UK driving licence.

  • Good communication skills and a proactive, problem‑solving mindset.
