Chubb Fire & Security is seeking a skilled and motivated Locksmith to join our team in Auckland. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality locksmith services across a diverse customer base, supporting the installation, maintenance, and servicing of mechanical and electronic locking systems within commercial and residential environments.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will work both independently and collaboratively with our wider service and technical teams to ensure customer sites remain secure, compliant, and fully operational. You will play an important role in maintaining strong customer relationships while delivering reliable and efficient locksmith solutions that support our broader security offering.
Installation, servicing, and repair of residential and commercial locking systems
Working with custodial locking systems
Opening, servicing, and repair of dial and digital safes
Identification, selection, and replacement of lock components using correct manufacturer part numbers
Fault finding, upgrades, and compliance-related work
Maintaining tidy, organised work practices on customer sites and in company vehicles
Communicating clearly with customers and internal teams
·Accurate completion of job documentation
NZ Certificate in Locksmithing (Level 4) preferred but not essential
Certificate of Approval (COA) or able to obtain
Highly regarded certifications/experience: ProMaster, InstaCode, Custodial locks, Safes (dial and digital), Residential and commercial lock systems, Door mortising
Experience with Bilock and Galaxy systems (preferred but not essential)
High standard of tidy, organised workmanship and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Clean criminal history (background checks required)
Full New Zealand driver’s licence

Pre‑Employment Requirements:
The successful candidate will be required to undertake a mandatory pre‑employment medical assessment, Drug & Alcohol test, and a National Police Check. The successful applicant will also be required to maintain additional site-specific security clearances, as required.
