About the Role
Based in Toowoomba, you will be servicing portable fire equipment on our customer premises and recommending portable fire protection and safety systems and equipment to comply with specific Australian Standards.
Other duties will include:
Auditing client’s locations, quoting & selling the full range of portable fire protection and safety systems, equipment, and services
Identifying, repairing & installing portable fire protection and safety systems and equipment to specific Australian Standards
Completing and providing evidence of maintenance performed on equipment using electronic maintenance records and specific Industry documentation
Understanding & exceeding specific financial & tolerance related targets & Key Performance Indicators

The Portables Service Technician will be reporting into our Salisbury office, but with a broad client base we are flexible on your location within Toowoomba area.
The successful candidate will have previous industry experience in the fire protection industry including servicing, maintaining & selling fire hose reels, fire extinguishers and related products, and be able to obtain or already have industry accreditation.
The role requires someone who can always represent the Chubb Fire brand to the highest of standards and capitalize on product sales opportunities whilst carrying out service work.
Experience and Knowledge Requirements:
Previous experience as a qualified Portable Service Technician
Professional experience or qualifications specified by any applicable local classification structure
A sound knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards relevant to Portable Service fire protection equipment
A current (QLD) QBCC License, for Fire – Portables Class/Stream for Install and maintenance of Portable Equipment, is mandatory
