About the Role<\/b><\/p>\n Based out of our Mackay branch and working with a team of Fixed Fire Protection Technicians, across Central Qld Region<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Responsible for fire systems for our current and new customers focusing on service maintenance, installation, modification and repair of Fire Detection Systems incorporating special hazards & Emergency \/ Exit lights.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Surveying customer premises and recommending fire protection and safety systems and equipment<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Technical Assistance\/backup for On Call Technicians<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n About You<\/b><\/p>\n Experience working as an Electrical Technician, ideally in the Fire industry<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Australian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Resident (PR)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Current QLD Electrical Licence<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Current driver\u2019s licence<\/p>\n<\/li>\n QBCC Licence (Electrical Stream, Special Hazards Stream)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Ability to obtain and undergo regularly Standard 11\/Coal Board Medical<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Able to undergo a National Police Check.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n A sound knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards relevant to Fixed Systems fire protection equipment is preferred.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n A Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme accreditation and Cabling Licence are ideal, but not mandatory.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Good time management skills<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Great attitude and willingness to deliver for our customer and client base.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Desired attributes you have:<\/b><\/p>\n Strong knowledge of AS 1851, AS 1670, AS 3000\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Previous experience in\u00a0fire systems inspections & maintenance<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Up to date product and industry knowledge with Tyco, Notifier and other prominent Fire system brands<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Working at Heights Licence<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Confined Space\u00a0Licence<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n What we will offer you:<\/b><\/p>\n Excellent remuneration package – rates of pay, company vehicle, mobile<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Planning and support for progression towards any role within Chubb<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Opportunity to work on a range of fire panels and a variety of customer sites<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Exciting and ever-changing work environment<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Great team and branch culture<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Access to People Matters – an employee discount platform with access to hundreds of discounts from health, groceries, electronics and more<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Apply now to see where Chubb can take your career.\u00a0 All applications and enquiries are treated in the strictest confidence.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Are you being referred to one of our roles?
