As a renowned industry leader and a proud member of the API Fire and Security group of companies, we leverage our collective expertise and resources to deliver innovative solutions that redefine the boundaries of safety and security.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><b>About the Role<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Based from Dingley (Melbourne) you will be responsible for service and minor works installation of wet and dry fire suppression systems on a variety of industrial and commercial sites across the Melbourne metropolitan area.<\/p>\n<p>This will involve:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Servicing wet fire protection equipment strictly in accordance with AS1851, and in accordance with Chubb Fire Safety procedures and processes<\/li>\n<li>Identifying &amp; scoping Recommended Repairs and assisting to quote repairs<\/li>\n<li>Installing and carry out minor works on fixed fire protection and safety systems and equipment in accordance Chubb Fire &amp; Security procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>About You<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience working as a Sprinkler Fitter within all aspects of inspection and testing.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>FPAS Qualifications<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkler Fitter license<\/li>\n<li>Ability to carry out servicing on pumpsets, up to 5 annuals &amp; 5 yearlys (preferred)<\/li>\n<li>Australian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Resident (PR) or working rights<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in the Fire Protection Industry is essential.<\/li>\n<li>Current driver\u2019s licence<\/li>\n<li>Extinguishing Agent Handling License<\/li>\n<li>Handheld skills with the ability to operate service app, completing work orders electronically.<\/li>\n<li>Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>Able to undergo a pre-employment medical and police check.<\/li>\n<li>A sound knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards<\/li>\n<li>Self motivated with the ability to work in an unsupervised environment<\/li>\n<li>Be willing to be part of an after hours call out roster<\/li>\n<li>Ability to build customer relationships<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>What we will offer you:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent remuneration package &#8211; rates of pay, full maintained company vehicle, mobile<\/li>\n<li>Rostered Days Off (RDOs) as per EBA<\/li>\n<li>Planning and support for progression towards any role within Chubb<\/li>\n<li>Opportunity to work on a range of fire equipment and a variety of customer sites<\/li>\n<li>Working for a global organisation which brings job stability and where you are treated like family<\/li>\n<li>Great team and branch culture<\/li>\n<li>Access to Chubb Hub &#8211; an employee discount platform with access to hundreds of discounts from health, groceries, electronics and more<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Apply now to see where Chubb can take your career.\u00a0 All applications and enquiries are treated in the strictest confidence.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Are you being referred to one of our roles?
