This role is ideal for a technically capable security professional who enjoys combining\u00a0hands-on system expertise, technical problem-solving, and branch-level support\u00a0to help deliver reliable outcomes for clients and field teams.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>As the Branch Technical Officer, you will support the delivery and ongoing performance of electronic security systems across client sites. You will provide installation support, system configuration, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and technical guidance to ensure systems operate effectively and meet company and industry standards. Working closely with technicians and operational teams, you will serve as a key technical point of contact within the branch, helping resolve issues, improve system reliability, and maintain consistent technical quality across projects and service work.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>This position is well suited to someone who takes pride in their technical knowledge, works well in a team environment, and is committed to safety, compliance, and high-quality service delivery. Reporting to the General Manager \u2013 WA, you will contribute to the branch\u2019s technical capability by providing practical support, troubleshooting expertise, and oversight of electronic security systems and related technical processes.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2><b>Skills and Experience:<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Proven experience in\u00a0electronic security systems\u00a0(CCTV, access control, intruder alarms).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Programming of fire alarm systems<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Strong understanding of\u00a0IP-based security technologies and networking fundamentals.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Experience with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of security platforms.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and system schematics.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with technical teams.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Relevant technical qualifications in electronics, security technology, or a related field preferred.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Current driver\u2019s licence<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Qualifications &amp; Licences<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Current\u00a0WA Security Installer Licence\u00a0(essential)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Security Consultant Licence\u00a0(desirable)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>ACMA Open Cabling Registration\u00a0with relevant endorsements<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Certificate or trade qualification in\u00a0Technical Security, Electrotechnology, or a related field<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><b>Highly regarded certifications: <\/b>Gallagher, Inner Range, Integriti, Axis, Milestone etc<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Current\u00a0WA Driver\u2019s Licence<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>White Card\u00a0and ability to work on construction or client sites (desirable)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Security Clearance Requirements<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>NV1 Security Clearance\u00a0(Negative Vetting Level 1)\u00a0 or the\u00a0ability to obtain and maintain NV1 clearance.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Willingness to undergo government security vetting and background checks as required.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Desirable<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Experience with integrated security management systems.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Experience supporting large or multi-site security deployments.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Why you\u2019ll enjoy this role<\/b><\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll be joining a\u00a0collaborative, industry-leading business\u00a0where your technical expertise is valued and where the work is varied, hands-on, and customer-focused.
