{"id":13778,"date":"2026-04-30T12:11:41","date_gmt":"2026-04-30T11:11:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/careers.chubbfs.com\/job-postings\/fire-alarm-electrician-jr40003370-180\/"},"modified":"2026-04-30T12:11:41","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T11:11:41","slug":"fire-alarm-electrician-jr40003370-180","status":"publish","type":"job_posting","link":"https:\/\/careers.chubbfs.com\/au-en\/job-postings\/fire-alarm-electrician-jr40003370-180\/","title":{"rendered":"Fire Alarm Electrician \u2013 JR40003370"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Electrical Fire Alarm Technician \/ Electrician \u2013 Service &amp; Minor works<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Customer Focused Business<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Competitive EBA Conditions including Vehicle<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Exceptional place to work<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Chubb Fire &amp; Security, an industry leader, is seeking a Service &amp; Minor works Electrical Fire Alarm Technician to join our growing Townsville team.\u00a0 This position involves servicing Fire Protection Systems and Equipment to Chubb Fire &amp; Security\u2019s<span> agreed standard of quality and excellence,<\/span> whilst exceeding customer service expectations.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><b>Your general responsibilities will be to:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage\/Assist with Key Customers Fire service needs<\/li>\n<li>Installation, Modification, Commissioning and repair of Fire Detection, Warning Systems, Smoke Alarms &amp; Emergency \/ Exit lights<\/li>\n<li>Survey customer premises and recommend fire protection and safety systems and equipment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage and maintain all assigned company property, including documents, tools, equipment, vehicles, product, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Report work progress and performance by completing productivity \/ key performance indicator (KPI) reports<\/li>\n<li>Comply with all company policies, procedures, and processes in accordance with Chubb Fire &amp; Security<\/li>\n<li>Attend all scheduled training programs. In house training to be provided to successful candidate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain best in class customer service<\/li>\n<li>Technical Assistance\/backup for On Call Technicians<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Required Skills and Attributes:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Customer focused attitude<\/li>\n<li>Good time management skills<\/li>\n<li>Be a result driven individual<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in team environment and also a self-starter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Current Driver\u2019s Licence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Desired attributes;<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sound knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards relevant to Fire Systems protection equipment<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in fire systems inspections &amp;
