Are you a hands-on technician who enjoys working with customers, solving problems, and being part of a supportive team? Chubb is looking for a motivated Portables Technician to join our Adelaide team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong customer service mindset, and brings a positive, can-do attitude to every job.
As a Portables Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, servicing and maintaining portable fire equipment across a range of customer sites. You’ll work closely with customers, ensuring their equipment is compliant, safe and functioning as required.
Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
Testing and servicing portable fire equipment, including fire extinguishers, fire blankets and hose reels
Completing routine inspections in line with relevant Australian Standards
Identifying equipment faults or replacement requirements
Providing professional, friendly and reliable service to customers
Maintaining accurate service records and paperwork
Working safely and following Chubb’s procedures and standards

You will bring:

A current Australian driver’s licence
Highly Regarded
Experience servicing portable fire equipment
Knowledge of fire protection equipment and relevant Australian Standards, including AS 1851
Certificate II or III in Fire Protection, Fire Equipment Servicing, or a related field
White Card or similar ticket
