Are you an experienced Hardware Design or Production Engineer looking for a fresh new role in a cutting-edge field?  This exciting role will be integral to the manufacturing and engineering of electronic products for use in fire suppression systems used in a variety of in field applications for Chubb Fire.

We develop market leading fire suppression systems – this role will lead our team in manufacturing, R&D and field technical support. These products are key to ensuring fire safety and control to a wide range of industries and in particular, the mining sector.

• Be a member of the design and development team responsible for the creation of complete and comprehensive product features 

• Participate in the full life cycle of development from specification and design through implementation, testing and manufacturing support.
• Work with suppliers to source components and ensure that these meet all regulatory and product specification.
• Provide technical support and training to our technicians in the field and to our clients.
• Prepare and review product manuals, technical bulletins and data sheets

First and foremost, we are looking for enthusiasm and commitment as well as a creative thinker who has experience in this field.

• Advanced qualifications in Electrical and Electronic Engineering eg. Degree or equivalent
• Knowledge and experience across both hardware and software
• Programming experience with C and knowledge of C++ would be beneficial
• Experience in electronic systems production and manufacturing utilizing lean methodologies
• Well-developed communication skills, able to provide written and verbal instructions and advice to key stakeholders.
